We have about 20 varieties of bananas comprising about 250 mats on our farm. We are located in Kapoho, which is at low elevation on the rainy side of the Big Island, Hawaii.

Our interest in bananas stems from our focus on sustainability. Bananas are an important food crop in the tropics.

At our family farm, we have been growing a variety of bananas, palms, fruit and nut trees, bamboos, and perennial greens. We have a website: EveningRainFarm.com if you are curious about what else we are doing.
