View Full Version : skimmi in a pot good or bad?

i have order a skimi and it arrived in a big pot its like 6ft tall, and just starting to develop!:woohoonaner: My question is shall i leave it in a pot so that if we get a bad winter again in london it can keep its height and bring it in, what do u guys think or shall i put it in the ground and let it go bannanas..

I don't know (my location is Central Europe), your temperatures are around 11°C (~51°F) I guess, that's a little bit risky, isn't it? If a bad whether strikes you suddenly and the plant is not yet established, it might just as well be it's last days... Why not wait 2 weeks, just to be sure?

I guess Sikkimensis, that's only logical to grow outdoors in London all year long.
