'Double mahoi' is a sport of regular 'Cavendish' with the fused fingers.
'Mahoi' (improper. A better name is 'Double Cavendish') is a sport of a 'Dwarf Cavendish', the fingers aren't fused. The inflorescence has multiple apices.
There are many different Cavendish varieties, some names that come to mind are:
Little Prince
Super Dwarf Cavendish
High Color Mini
Dwarf Cavendish (a few different forms)
Double Cavendish
Gran Nain
Williams
Pisang Masak Hjiau
Giant Cavendish
Valery
Robusta
Lacatan (not the Phillipine Lacatan)
JD Dwarf
There are also lots of synonyms for each, and some of the ones listed may even be synonymous in a region.

The M'sian version of the DC is the Pisang Masak Hijau aka Pisang Serendah aka Pisang Badak aka Pisang Meja.
Key words translated from Malay;
Pisang = Banana
Masak = Ripe/Ripen
Hijau = Green
Serendah = Low
Badak = Rhinocerous or Tapir as in a low shoulder height animal.
Meja = Table
All the local names indicate a short/low (literal translation) growing plant.
These two plants were fruiting at an orchid nursery.

This was once a popular edible ornamental 'naner but lost out to the stronger taste of the other local cultivars. Many people didn't like the idea of it ripening still green, they think its unnatural. Nowadays it is a wayside 'naner in housing areas gotten booted out of the houses' compound!
I like it cos it has heck lots of fruits and it doesn't get beyond 5ft in p-stem.
Though no longer popular as an edible cultivar, it is a lovely small plant with lots of creamy fruits.

One everyone forgets is "1780".

You can add in Zan Moreno, Haa, and Haa Haa.
Having said that, they are a lot more alike than they are different. Most are more cold sensitive than the tall varieties, in my San Diego experience. They tend to lose vigor and even die back somehat in the winter. Each seems to have a slighty different height. Here Zan Moreno seems shortest, along with Mahoi. Haa Haa seems to be the most cold tolerant and tallest this winter. Valery has generally been a better performer than most of the rest. But I would trade any of them for the productivity of Belle, Misi Lukie, etc.
