HI, I just put up a few new pics under-IDEA STOLEN FROM... and the set-up is two 12 oz bottles, one w/yeast-sugar mix the other is just taking gas (CARBON-DIOXIDE-?) thru cold water too filter it! Just wondering how often i should do this for this size of MINI-GREENHOUSE! (the solution i use only produces gas for 2-3 hours)! Planted in it is 4(small pots of lemongrass)/4(small pots of papayas)/4(small pots of ? oops i forgot the name banana seeds from Tog-sorry bro) None have sprouted yet most were planted on Feb 17th! Temp is generally 80-90 degrees f. w/75 % humidity!
Thanks Robby

Well, as far as a biological aspect (I have a BA in biology) plants need CO2 to survive. I would think that it would be nearly impossible to overdo the carbon dioxide of your system (unless you really try!). Realize that if there is a potential for the carbon dioxide to seep into your living space this is a potential problem. Too much C02 can be fatal for humans, but I'd say as far as your plants go, there is no max limit.

Robby it mite be more economical to use Bread yest they will grow as long as it has food and one tsp or sugar ever day or two will get you 48hr or more of gas production i don't think you need to raise the CO2 levels all that much to get the effect Bread yest dose not like high light levels or temps over 90deg fh

Robby when I use too make wine it would run for a couple of months. I didn't test the one I made with water sugar and bread yeast but I sure thought it would go longer than a couple hours. If I remember right some batches of wine will stop bubbling and even make vacuum but will kick in and start. I really thought water sugar and yeast would go a month or so. Maybe cause I was making larger batches but even gallon batches ran several months. I'll start mine back up and test how long it bubbles. Sometime a shake or stir will get it going faster.

Update.
Here is a mixture that in a 2 liter will go 16 days:

Another update: I wonder if you may have a leak at the cap or bad seal?
