Just a bit about myself as an introduction..I live in Grimsby - England and have the good fortune to work as a horticultral technician for the local college. I am based in three public greenhouses (tropical, hot, and cool) and grow most plants from seed...or try to at least!

Oh wonderful! If you have a preferred method for germinating Papaya seeds I'd love to hear it!

Looking at the threads on these pages, the secret to sucess is....there is no secret! just trial and error and patience, what works for one might not work for others but give it your best shot there are plenty of surprises out there and seed is cheaper than plants! :ha:

Although there are plenty of fruits that do not come true from seed, and thus the need to cultivate and buy plants.

Welcome Martin. I am likely to be coming to England in May for the Chelsea Flower Show, so if you would like some seeds posted to you while I am there, pm me your wish list and I will see what I can collect.
