Hi everyone! I moved to NC from MN in Oct, and of course my huge tropical plants had to be piled into the moving van as well. It was a crazy fall, so hopefully my tattered plants will survive the double whammy of the move and haphazard overwintering. I have a Ensete ventricosum Maurelli in a container.

I just posted a question in the overwintering section to see if it is OK to cut this banana back for a more compact/neater appearance, it has a 3' stem with new growth coming out of the top. I'm wondering if I missed my chance to do this in the fall.

Welcome to the organization TracyNC1!!!

I live a liitle south of you and have no experience over-wintering Musas. I do wish you well in your efforts, there are many on this site that can give you good information, it just takes a day or two for it to come through.

Welcome once again!
