Huge geek here! I almost took a graduate degree in quantum physics.... I'm heartened to hear that advancements like this are starting to be made in the field of quantum computation and the use of the entaglements as true points of data storage and distribution.

It's so hard to even imagine! This is really exciting! Just think about having two entangled particles at opposite ends of the universe. Alter one and the other is instantly altered! :woohoonaner:

Yes, but everything that happens, no matter if it's on a quantum or macro level, happens within a given probability....

True. The time scale for a tunneling microscope is insignificantly short on human scales, but for the opposite ends of the universe scenario the time scale is intractably long.
