I understand your oink oink problem cos we have annoying wild boars here which come around once in a while to smash some 'naner plants up.

I sympathise with you on the pig issue, but at least you don't have to deal with Tapirs. Pigs might smash the plants, but a hungry Tapir (700 lbs or so) will physically uproot it in order to eat the leaves, the stem, and later the rhizome, and woe betide you if there was fruit on it when it got tipped. Equally, you don't have to make a blame fool of yourself chasing monkeys around the yard.
You won't find a bigger bunch of friendly banana geeks than where you are now.
