Hey all,
I haven't been posting much lately due to everything going on in life. Just had a question as to the best way to store banana seeds. I have several different types that I am going to try and start later on this winter and wanted to see what others do with theirs. I am afraid to start them now and have too many seedlings to deal with inside over the winter, so I plan on starting them around the first of the year. Could any of you please let me know how the best way to store them would be? I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone could give. Take care and see ya around...

Randy, room temperature should be fine. I just have mine in a ziploc bag in a drawer in a room in the house. They should be sealed in a bag.

I've hearde that some of the more or less cold tolerant species (velutina, sikkimensis, itinerans, Musella) should be stored in the fridge (2 - 4 deg C) so I do that will all my banana seeds, just in case.
I have no clue if it helps preserve them any longer, never tested that.
Kind regards,
Remko.
