Frost advisory for tonight with a forecasted low of 32F, so tonight by basjoo's may die back. So I thought I'd take one last round of pictures, just in case they do. Sucks, too. After tonight, it will stay above 45F at night for the next seven days at least. Here are the pictures of this year's progress:

Hi Tim, we're looking at 36 degrees tonight with scattered frost and then back into the low 50's upper 40's for over night lows here in N. Illinois, highs mid 60's and low 70's for the next 7-10 days, I just put plastic sheeting I got at Menards over my nanners, last year on cold nights I covered my Dwarf Cav. with a 6x8 tarp when frost was predicted, it made it out side untill the middle of Nov., then I brought it inside, it made it ok, the sheeting comes in roll and folds out to about twelve feet wide, 5-7 dollars for a 25-30 foot roll, good investment for those of us zonally challenged nanna growers. :bananas_b

Tim you have a great looking set up going there. In a few years that should really look incredible. Nice work!

Your palms also look great, Tim. Just wait until they come back even bigger and better next year!

I should take pictures of my basjoo too. Anyways, it was our first frost this morning. The temp here was around 34F-35F at 6am as displayed by my outside temp reader.

Check this out taken around 7am.
