Mom and daughter doing great! Not even a wimper from the precious one. She just stares at you. Very typical with babies in my family. (Photo taken at 8:00 PM 09/23/2008)

Thank you! Strained bananas, hey now, that's a thought! If only we can get Seņorita or Lacatan, that would be regal. . . . .
Thanks again to you - mga kaibigan! (my many friends)

Congrats!
Now, if you thought your gardening was expensive, watch grandma shop for the new grandchild; the bills shall be enormous! In my case, my wife spent an amount equivalent to solving our currency crisis and a substantial portion of the national debt!
Congratulations again!

Thank you! Your wife must have been my wife's mentor! I know what you mean. This is our 9th grandchild, only the second granddaughter. The first one was named after my wife - need I say more (about the spending)?
Thanks again.

Thank you very much, Miss Deb!
She looks so alert because she spent a little more time in Mommy's tummy. LOL. She was so comfortable, according to the obstetrician, that she wanted to stay. Well, two and a half weeks later(overdue), the obgy took care of that with a little "inducement". Even after labor pains started, she just didn't want to move and after several hours, her pulse went below 50. So, time for the "C" procedure, unfortunately.
Thanks again.

Aww.. she was much too comfortable. Hope mom is recovering quickly. Your mention of her staring at you gave me cause to smile as we have a word for that at our house. My youngest daughter gave birth to a baby girl on July 16th and when she does that we call it learning. My daughter will call me and if little Emily has done alot of just looking around she'll say, "Emily had a good learning day." :ha:

When I took the pictures of the Margaritas, I borrowed my daughter's Nikon because pictures I've taken with my Fuji heavily favored the green and couldn't show the true color of the Margaritas. When I downloaded the pictures, I found out that the camera's disk contained this photo of my youngest granddaughter, Madison, and older granddaughter, Danielle, taken last Valentine's day. Just thought I'd show her off again so y'all can see how she's doing.

She's always smiling. . . . . Always handy to keep us warm during these cold days in Seattle.

A wonderful gift to Grandpa, Grandma, Mom and Dad and her sister. Although I can wait to be a grandfather, I sense the pride that one must have no matter when it happens. She is a doll!
