Potted up my super dwarf cavendish bananas to get them prepared for winter. Here is where they were before:

Here is them tonight:

Plus side is I got two pups off the parents, so I cut them off and potted them up right away. I figured I'd pot them up now and keep them outside for a few weeks yet so they can adjust to the pot before I bring them in the house. I won't be able to plant them next to the washingtonia robusta next summer as they have grown too big and wore out their welcome there, lol. I can hear the robusta now feeling pleased with having its personal space back. LOL.

Hopefully I can winter them successfully in the house so I can get some nanners next year.

Good Job WXMan. Remember to keep in shade for the next few days, during adjustment. Or else your plant might go into shock.

Wow, you live close to my grandparents! Looks like the bananas will be good and ready for winter.
I hope you get a good bunch of them next year!:bunchonanas:

Exactly as I did to mine except that I potted the mom to a7 gal pot but the 3 pups it had I potted them to a one gal pots. All are doing great. All are growing in my bay window.
