Had a look at photos i would say the pot is okay not ideal but okay, i personnel have grown nana's in to over 10 foot in half barrels , i had a similar problem with mine so i put it in the ground and the problem stopped, i am not saying it was the pot but it did help mine that looked similar to yours. I would maybe try putting it in a larger pot and see how it gets on, the new leaf looks okay thought but i could see on the newer leaves it has started to go on the ends. Not sure if this is of much help but i am sure ther is someone on here with more experience that may be able to offer you a confirmed diagnoises.
Hopw often do you water and feed?

Did you let the pot get really dry for an extended period? If not, that could be sodium toxicity .

Could be nitrogen deficiency and the upper leaves are drawing it from the lower leaves. Leave them on if there is any green left in them. They are still photosynthesizing. Once they turn completely brown, hack 'em off.
I presume of course that you checked for other pests, varmints, etc. and that you water regularly.
