Wondering what type this could be, or at least what banana group it could be in. San Sebastian MX-

These were about 20ft tall.

What kind of winter temperatures do they get at 4500 feet?

I'm not really sure, but Musa Ice cream was growing there also, so at least to whatever zone that is. I actually thought this was a type of ice cream because the fruit has a sort of off color to it, but not as silver.

I would think, based on leaf bases, fruit size/shape, and pseudostem coloration, that it is in the Musa acuminata group. That's about all I've got, lol. Thanks for all the pics, Kyle! Are you really living in Mexico now? Geez, Montana not warm enough for you?

Yep, been here almost 2 months, and surviving the humid heat pretty well without AC, but the banana plants seem to like it hot and muggy like this.
