After reading MsKitty's horror stories of McDonald's I thought about this bit and thought I'd share. Some of them are a bit.. graphic... but it's absolutely hilarious to think that someone sat down and patiently answered these things... so those who might be be forewarned now... some of it is rated pg-13!
Also if you happen to be drinking anything... for your personal safetey set your drink aside... Those who are concerned about brain cell death... do not attempt to read this as it might prove hazardous... You were warned!

McDonald's fast food nutrition facts, burger calories... Find all the answers here (http://www.makeupyourownmind.co.uk/questions.html)

This seems to be a hilarious company Q&A site aimed at answering the questions of British McDonald's customers. Feel free to ask them about anything.

Some of the funnier ones:

Q. I've heard your burgers are made from poor people that populate the third world countries. Why not choose people from the over populated china instead?

A. No, All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef, nothing else just 100 percent beef, prepared from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. (July 2008)

Q. It is true your burgers contain poo

A.No, All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef. Nothing else.

Q. Do you know what they call a big mac in France?

A. Le Big Mac. (June 2008)

Q. Is it true that you refuse to employ people with downsyndrome??
A. No, that is not true

Q. is it true a doctor who ate a burger at one of ur resturants found traces of sperm in the burger? or is that just rumors
A. Rumours.

1. You know the chicken nuggets, well a few years ago I found an octopus tentacle in one. How can this be? It was very delicious though.

This may come as a surprise, but there are no nasty bits in the Chicken McNuggets. The only meat used in the nuggets is chicken breast meat. Once made, they're then coated with a specially seasoned batter. If you would like to reassure yourself about how the Chicken McNuggets are made then take a look at the recent independent Quality Scout report. Just click on the 'Quality Scout' link on this site to find out more. (July 2008)

Q. Is it true that the cows are injected with AIDS to make the beef more lean, and appear healthier to the consumers?

A. No, it is not true. (May 2008)

Q. I once saw Ronald McDonald eating at burger king. A few minutes later some people with big guns dressed in McDonalds uniforms came in and started shouting. One of them tried to shoot Ronald but the Hamburglar took the bullet. Ronald is currently hiding at my house. The ransom is £1000000 and a happy meal. Please send the money if u want Ronald alive. Do you wish to negotiate?

A. You have a great imagination, ever thought about writing a book? (May 2008)

Q. Hello Ronold, I'm going to a party tonight. Should I wear my blue jumper or my black one?

A. Black. (May 2008)

Q. I've heard that meat for your burger is made up of cows brains, testicals and *****. Can you confirm this is 100% true?

A. No, McDonald's can't confirm this as true, because it isn't.

Q. Is it true that Ronald Mcdonald used to be a normal 16yr old employee before he had an accident and fell into the deep fryer and came out all clown like and mentally retarded? I heard he couldn't speak at all anymore and never left the restaurant so McDonalds covered it up by making him the mascot. I saw this in PETA's documentary on your restaurant. Please set him free. This is a gross violation of child bondage laws.

A. Ronald McDonald has been the company's Chief Happiness Officer since 1963 and he's definitely well and free as you can see at his website Welcome to McDonald's UK Corporate Website (http://www.bigredshoes.co.uk). McDonald's can only assume that the 'documentary' you saw was fictitious. (August 2007)

Q: Why are your staff greasyer than your food (nearly). Do you have a hygiene test?

A: Many young people as well as older people suffer from or have skin problems at some point in their lives. This doesn’t happen to people who work at McDonald’s any more than it does to people working in other places of employment. All restaurant staff receives hygiene training when they start work, this training, and the awareness of the importance of hygiene, continues throughout their employment with McDonald’s.

Q: I'm an english student working towards a food based qualification, however i have no arms or legs. will this be a factor applying for a job at mcdonalds?

A: McDonald's is an equal opportunities employer and would never discount anyone who expresses an interest in working for the company. As long as you are of school leaving age, all applications are welcome. At the interview stage, McDonald's will assess, in detail, your ability to do the job you've selected to apply for and discuss opportunities with you.

I applied for a job in McDonalds in Glasgow's Gallowgate and was refused an interview. As I have 2 GCSE's I can only imagine this is on grounds of my homosexuality. Now I'm off to join the Navy, where I am welcomed. Does McDonalds have an active 'no benders' recruitment policy? Surely this is against EU policy?

Anybody with the right attitude and a commitment to providing the best in customer service is welcome to apply a position at McDonald's. There is absolutely no discrimination towards individuals. McDonald's people policies follow current best practice and all legal directives and employment legislation. McDonald's has been awarded 'Investors in People' Status for the past eight years and this year was also named as one of the UK's Top 50 workplaces in the Financial Times. In addition, the company is a Gold certified member of 'Race for Opportunity' 'Opportunity Now' 'Employers Forum on Age' and the 'Employers Forum on Disability' all of which serves to illustrate its commitment to fairness, diversity and equality in the workplace. (September 2007)

Q. When I was six years old I visited McDonalds with my cousin Frank. That day we met Ronald McDonald and The Hamburglar. My cousin Frank was inspired by Ronald and is now a succesful clown. I was inspired by the Hamburglar and am tempted to get into a life of crime. Will McDonalds reinstate this character so I can meet with him and exchange hints and tips? I don't want to end up in jail.

A. Hamburglar is no longer used in McDonald's advertising, and there are no plans to re-introduce him. (November 2007)

Q.Have you thought about making a black Ronald McDonald for Africa or are you racist?

A. McDonald's is not racist. The Ronald McDonald character is a clown. He has been the face of the company since 1963 and is still one of the most recognised faces in the world. When the Ronald character makes a personal appearance, whether in Africa or Japan for example, he will be played by a local artist, but always with the recognisable make-up and accessories. (August 2007)

Q. I heard that Ronald Mc Donald is now more Hamburger than man, is this true?

A.No. Ronald McDonald is a man, not a hamburger.

Q. You claim that "millions of people enjoy eating your food every day". Do you have PROOF that they ENJOY eating it? Could it not be a case of peer pressure and personal blackmail? I heard that somebody left half a McNugget and Ronald McDonald KILLED THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY. Did this happen?

A.McDonald's likes to think that its customers are able to make their own choices, and would not visit McDonald's purely because of the reasons you state. And no, Ronald McDonald has never killed anyone.

Q. Is it true that Ronald McDonald has appeared in a music video with Insane Clown Posse?

A. Regarding your question, it is not true.

Q. Has Ronald McDonald got a girlfriend?

A. No, Ronald is currently single. (June 2008)

Q. what football team does Ronald McDonals support?

Ronald McDonald is a supporter of football in general, not of any one team in particular. Like Ronald, McDonald's has a passion for sport and supports many different football initiatives across the UK on a local and national level. (June 2007)

Q: Has MacDonalds ever given funds to Sinn Fein?

A:McDonald's does not, and never has, funded Sinn Féin. (May 2007)

Q:Listen, i really like you, but I dont think im ready to marry you.

A:Always the Bride's maid. (May 2008)

Q: Why do McFlurries fill the sad, lonely, gaping void in my life?

A: That is a good question, but it's one that the team cannot answer, unfortunately. However, McDonald's is glad that you enjoy the McFlurry and hopes that it continues to bring a smile to your face. (January 2008)

Q: Is it true that McDonalds staff are contractually obliged to sing "I'm lovin' it." if a customer whistles the little tune from the adverts?

A: No this is not true. (January 2008)

Q: Is Ronald McDonal secretly teaching little boys that it's normal to wear lipstick?

A: No. Ronald McDonald is all about teaching children how to understand and enjoy food, to be active, and have lots of fun. (September 2007)

Q: Can I has cheezburger???

A: Of course. Please visit your nearest McDonald's restaurant to buy one.

346. I noticed that you use 100% beef in your burgers. Pepperami used to have 104% meat in their meat sticks. Do you plan on increasing your meat content to match compeition like this. If I were to have a direct choice for lunch between a 104% meat sandwich (2-3 pepperamis between 2 slices of bread) and a 100% meat sandwich then which one would I go for?!!!

McDonald's can only speak for itself, and it is confident that its Hamburgers are made of high quality beef and chicken meat, sourced from the best suppliers working to the highest standards. Which one you decide to have for lunch is entirely up to you. (January 2008)

Q: Is it true that McDonalds have plans to introduce cow racing, with jockeys dressed as clowns?

A: No.

are big macs big?
Yes!

Q: When I ate one of your fries I got cancer. Why did this happen? I thought McDonalds was healthy?

A: You have to check with the residence in which your purchased these fries. We are very sorry to hear this news.

Q: Whomever dreamed up the recipies for your lovely barbeque sauce and tartare sauce is deserving of a michelin star. They are truly delightful. How on earth did they manage it? And can you send me a small pot of each one please - it beats the dreadful home-made condiments my wife currently makes me endure. I look forward to receiving them in the post.

A: Thanks for the compliments. McDonald’s is unable to send out any sauces, but hopes you’ll continue to enjoy them in your local restaurant.

Q. Is it possible to rent out a restaurant for a wedding? My fiancee and I are very interested if this is the case.

A. Sorry, McDonald's does not rent out any restaurants for weddings. (June 2007)

Q. How many cats do you slaughter a day to make the Chicken Nuggets?

A. No cats in the Chicken McNuggets, only carefully deboned 100 per cent chicken breast meat, which is coated in a specially seasoned batter. Details of all McDonald's ingredients are available online in the 'Ingredients List' which is in the 'Eat Smart' section of Welcome to McDonald's UK Corporate Website (http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk). (September 2007)

Q. is it true the syrup for the chocolate milkshake is the waste leftover by all your pre-slaughteed cows blended in with 60kg of sugar? my uncle told me this and has been texting a cleaner from one of your stores for a month now.

A: No, this is not true. The ingredients for the chocolate milkshake are as follows: Milkshake Base Milk, Sugar, Whey Powder, Glucose Syrup, Cream (40% Butterfat), Stabiliser (E412 Guar Gum, E407 Carageenan (Standardised with sugars), Dextrose, E410 Locust Bean Gum. You can find out more about McDonald's food and ingredients in the 'Ingredients List' at Welcome to McDonald's UK Corporate Website (http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk), or at Welcome to... McDonaldsMenu.info (http://www.mcdonaldsmenu.info). (August 2007)

Q. Is this not just a way of extending your propaganda machine? How come there is no forum in which we can actively debate with you? Is just answering the "most popular questions" without letting us see what questions are actually asked not just another way of letting you filter the debate? How come there is no opportunity for your oponents to rebutt the answers to their questions? Is there any point in me asking these questions or is this debate limited to the questions you want to answer? I'm waiting.

A: McDonald’s intends to host webchats and online debates on this site to try and provide more ways for members of the public to talk directly to McDonald’s, and to raise and debate issues. The objective of this website is much more than a simple PR exercise – its aim is to provide answers to genuine concerns and misconceptions that customers might have about McDonald’s, and to air any issues that the general public have regarding the company. All answers are considered on an individual basis and written to be as candid and succinct as possible. If you see any questions that you feel are answered unsatisfactorily, please let McDonald’s know via this website and they will be reviewed accordingly.

Q. My mate told me that inside the 'special mac sauce' is a combination of spit, olive oil and monkey tears. Is this true, as I will not eat there if so as I don't like olive oil.

A: No, this is not true. The exact composition of the Big Mac sauce is a well-kept secret, but the ingredients are water, vegetable oil, gherkins, sugar, vinegar, modified corn starch, free range egg yolk, spices, fructose, salt, stabiliser E415 xanthan gum, preservative E202 potassium sorbate and some spice extracts. To find out exactly what ingredients are in each McDonald's menu item, use the 'Ingredients List' which is in the 'Eat Smart' section at Welcome to McDonald's UK Corporate Website (http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk). (September 2007)

Q. Okay here is the deal. I have read numerous times that you and your shady pals over at Mc Donald's Headquarters have killed Ronald Mc Donald and replaced him with a clone. Do you and your company think your funny? Do you think it is "cool" to kill clowns or something? Did the hamburgerler put you up to this or what? If you do not answer my questions truthfully, each one, I will never eat at your restaurant ever again and I suggest everyone else do the same. SPREAD THE TRUTH OF RONALD'S DEATH!

A: The company can assure you that there have not been any shady dealings with regards to the health and wellbeing of Ronald McDonald, nor has the Hamburglar been up to his old tricks. Ronald is very much alive and well and you can see what's he's been up to recently on his website Welcome to McDonald's UK Corporate Website (http://www.bigredshoes.co.uk). (August 2007)

Q. The saturated fat content of your food is soo high that it is likely to shorten the life span of a complete generation... Do you take any responibility for the death of Billions?

A: McDonald’s regards diet as an individual choice overall. The company also believes that its food is of good quality, and can easily be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Q. I was eating a fillet o fish and then someone told me that this is actually made from man eating octapus meat. Ofcouse I dont want to get eat or eaten from inside so I spat it out. Could you tell me if this is true. If so why is it called fillet o fish and not an octapus burger or something.

A: No, this is not true. A Filet-o-Fish contains: crispy coated fish portion (McDonald's is now using Hoki fish to protect depleting cod stocks), a regular bun, half a slice of cheddar cheese (processed) and tartare sauce. (August 2007) NOVEMBER 07 UPDATE: From mid November 2007, McDonald's Filet-o-Fish will be prepared using Alaskan Pollock fish, which is sourced from Marine Stewardship Council certified fisheries. Fish Fingers will continue to be made from Hoki, also sourced from Marine Stewardship Council certified fisheries.

Q. is it true that in a branch in Kent someone got food poisoning and when the food sample was analysed it contained 5 different types of SEMEN??

A: There are many urban myths about McDonald’s that are simply not true. If a situation such as the one you mentioned in your question was to happen, rest assured that it would be investigated fully by the company and dealt with immediately. However, the company can categorically say, that no semen has been found in any of the food.

Q. Have you stopped poisoning people?

A: McDonald’s is a legitimate business and sells food and drink acting fully within the laws of the countries where it operates.

Q. Is it true that your food tastes so good because you cook with care and attention? What's your secret!? I love your food more than my wife!

A: Thank you for your compliment. It is true that McDonald’s takes great care and attention in the preparation of all its food. Only the best ingredients, sourced from suppliers that adhere to the stringent rules set by McDonald’s, are used and the company prides itself on bringing a menu full of variety and value for money for all its customers.

Q. Each time i have a mcflurry i get itchy testicles, is there something in the mcflurry that makes this happen to me?

A: McDonald's food contains nothing that should make a healthy person ill or feel sick in any way, unless you have allergies to certain foods. All ingredients that are used are similar to those you would buy in the supermarket or use at home.

My personal favorite:

Q. Have you stopped poisoning people?

A: McDonald’s is a legitimate business and sells food and drink acting fully within the laws of the countries where it operates.

I like this answer.

There are literally hundreds of these.

I hate to say it but I'd like that job. You get paid good money to answer questions like these all day long with the same answers no matter how dumb or ridiculous the question is. I wonder what McDonald's thought when people started flooding them with...
I ate a fry from ur store and got cancer... why? rofl

I was living in the UK when the court case was on - interesting stuff - took maccas down a peg or two.

the two people who took them on were the typical looking hippy activists - until they started teaching themselves law - they couldn't afford any legal help and legal aid wouldn't come to their aid because it was a civil trial.

After many year they had a win - maccas was proven to have doen so much wrong throughout the world - - some of the strangest claims weren't won by the :hippies" but enough to seriously damage maccas.
