Artificially banana flavored kangaroo meat, yummie!!! Joking really.

I'll probably give it a try. No worse than a pack a day, my wrist watch, microwave, sun tan, or laptop on my lap everynight. :nanadrink:

they are the larges holders of earth worm fames in the world and they don't sell a singe worm to any one its true was in the wall street journal so what do you think they do with them?

They use them for Vermiculture. It's too expensive to add them as a filler to their beef patties.

"An Australian environmental technology company has recently introduced large-scale vermiculture to Hong Kong. The technology allows the worms to consume and convert organic materials into environmentally friendly fertilizers.McDonald's is one of the businesses that has signed up for the new scheme. As part of its waste recycling program, some of its restaurants will now separate organic waste before sending it to the plant to be eaten by worms."

In nature worms have been consuming waste and recycling for millions of years, it's just we have never seen them," said David Ellery of Sunburst Biotechnologies. "What we have done is taken that natural process and engineered it into 21st century size and efficiency to deal with a much larger problem in a more concentrated manner."

Me too, horror please?

All restuarants are dirty to some degree, those teenaged managed ones especially. 15 second rule is nonsense I know, but I've only been sick from McD's once in my life and that was the McRib. Fast food is probably really good for your immune system, and very bad for your heart. Than again, I think Taco Bell is the worst, their food still has gobs of TransFat.

So I eat worms, roo meat, and who knows whatelse, nothing a little hot sauce wont cure!!!

Come on, lets have those horror stories??

ok just remember you asked for it:
after the guys would clean the grills they would turn them back on till they got hot and have cockroach races across the grill to see whos bug would make it across without exploding first. we found dead mice in the open pickle buckets in the big coolers. cockroaches in the milk shake machine( getting mixed up with the milkshakes mix). in the biscut mix we found dead bugs june bugs and beetles. if the lettus mix was getting slimy the management told us to just rinse it off and use it. when they cleaned out the friers we would find dead bugs in the botton with the crumbs. there was so much more to it. i just cant eat at fast food resturants. i cook at the clarion inn in cookeville tn and i know how often the friers are cleaned. so if i eat anywhere i eat there.

taylor thats not half of it. i just get a queesy stomach when i think back to all that mess and i thank god that fast food are not the only resturants on the planet. then again with the classes im taking in school....i refuse to eat at any resturant with a buffet. i dont touch the buffet....i order from the kitchen. i know this is gonna sound kind of weird but it you think about it youll understand. when i go to a resturant the first thing i do is go into the bathroom...if the bathroom is clean( and i mean clean) i will eat at that resturant. if the bathroom is dirty and nasty i will walk right back out the door. if the bathroom is clean then the kitchen usually is clean....if the bathroom is nasty then the kitchen is. i have worked at enough resturants to find this is a true fact.

I remember something like two bug legs in every chocolate bar.

if the bathroom is clean( and i mean clean) i will eat at that resturant. if the bathroom is dirty and nasty i will walk right back out the door. If a bathroom is really shinny, its probably not getting much use? Just look for employees to wash hands and wear gloves, thats always my turning point.

Come on now I thought you were gonna give us some real stomach turning horror. The kind that would have us rethinking our fast food habits for sure.

-My mom got some fries once with little curly hairs in them. She exchanged the fries and the next three times they still had hairs. BLUUUAHHH

-I'm sure you all remember reading about the women who got the fried chicken head in her chicken nuggets? BLURRRRRRRP

-and how about when V8 got sued because someone poured a glass of tomato juice and found an aborted fetus? RAAAALFFFFF

Like that horror!:lurk:

well iv been a chef all my life and its true that lots of restaurant don't fit the bill but living in Vegas which as the toughest health codes in the us and having run 2 restaurants here most are quite clean i can imagine with the 4 to 8 times a year that the health department comes in to restaurants here that much of any violations could go uncorrected for long and I'm a clean freak! all you would have to do is set throw one required Clark county Health district class to have your stomk turn over i think one of the reasons that Vegas has so many good places is the required health district card which you must have in order to work in any field that has a public health risk thats not just for restaurants but all field like Hospitals hotel cleaning
doctors all county workers water treatment plants and so on and so forth i think you get the picture we take are safety and welfare vary seriously here in NV the only restaurants besides fast food i wont eat in here are Asian they get most of the really bad marks here. all notices of deficiency are printed in the paper every day! so if you all want to eat here in Las Vegas you have my word as a 18 year master chef that you will get the highest standers of cleanliness any ware in the world now i cant vouch for the food tasting good the health Dept can only do so much!LOL

This I gotta hear about :ha::ha:

I was at a protest outside a maccas in Australia something to do with them tearing down rain forests in brasil to fill the need for cheap beef in the USA - and someone put one of their pot plants - funnily enough a brasilian rainforest tropical plant - through one of their front windows. The management agreed not to call the police if we went away. The owner/manager knew most of us because it was a fairly small town and had played rugby with me a few years before.

I got a letter from him saying I'd been put on some list of banned people and I was bbanned for life. I doubt there ever was a list, but I've never been into a maccas since and haven't eaten their stuff since the late 1970's.

That's just awesome Paradisi! Good for you guys. I don't eat there either, no steroid burgers for me. It's hard to find a place anymore to get good meat that hasn't been injected with expiremental chemicals. Other countries laugh at the fact that many Americans are overweight, I honestly don't think it's the portions but the chemicals in food nowadays. I've met people visiting from other countries say they eat the same stuff and the same portions as back home, and they gain weight. O.o. McDonalds and all the fast food chains can replant the forests they chopped down for cheap beef... and keep their chemical burgers to themselves thank you very much. I'd much rather have the forests and fauna and flora back to the way it was before they got ahold of it.
