This Lady went through a beating at the Post Office. The box was crumpled, but she survived and looks like La Señorita is going to make it.

Thanks Miss Sam,
She was a keeper from day one. Although it was hard to get to her for several weeks after our first meeting. I finally convinced her cousin, who was(is) my best friend, to hold a party at their house, with her as my date(she didn't know it before the party). After our first dance, we were hooked!
Outside of giving her blessings for me to do my thing with plants, she really had nothing to do with the acquisitions. It was our youngest son who found the plants and financed most of it. It wasn't a total surprise.

Thanks Benny,
You are right about the years I've been searching for the Lovely Señorita! How about since 1974! If I can break loose from work to spend a little time in the Philippines, I know I can find some more. Or, even in HI, for that matter. When I do, I'll appropriate one for you. But by golly, work just keep getting in the way!!!
Thanks again.

Congrats!
Thanks Mitchel,
It was our youngest son who scrounged around for them and partially financed the acquisition. My wife is very supportive of everything I want to do, though. Except maybe, about other women. LOL!

Congratulations on the anniversary, Chong! My wife and I are 19 years, less 7 days, behind you. No plant plant gifts on our recent 25th anniversary, boo hoo! ;)
Very nice additions, there! You must have a large greenhouse. Have you posted a photo of it?

Thanks Dean,
Some of them will be in the heated section of the greenhouse, and if get enough courage and buy the greenhouse from Harbor Freight, I will put all the big ones in there so they can get a lot of light. My current greenhouse is a lean-to style whose north side is the house. It actually opens into the house. So a detached greenhouse will be lit from all four walls plus the roof. I'll just need to run hydronic heat to the new one, or electric cables if I don't finish installing my boiler before the winter. Problem is right now the gas company is dragging their heels extending the gas line to my property because my house has a heat-pump.

Thanks Harvey,
And Congratulations to you, also!!!!! I don't know if you're bragging or complaining about not getting any plant gifts. For all we know, the non-plant gift you got might be a Ferrari Testarossa! I'd trade all my plants for that - without of course, "mi Señorita linda."
Our greenhouse is 12ft X 21ft X 16ft tall. It is part of the house on the Southeast corner. I haven't taken any photos of it because it is in a state of disarray from my extended absences during the FEMA disaster assignments. If you click on the "Find me on the Map" button under my avatar, and zoom in at the highest zoom, you will find my home which has a blue roof.
Thanks again.

Hi Chong, thanks. No complaints as my wife has not complained with my own purchases and we're in the mode of trying to pay off our mortgage now, so no Ferrari is on the horizon.
When did you say your next FEMA assignment is? I see where you are at and may drop by to take care of things in your absence! Just joking! LOL
Mine greenhouse is a little smaller than yours (12' x 16' x 12' high sides with 16' peak) and also thought of one of those HF greenhouses. I see they raised the price slightly to $619 when on sale (sale ended yesterday and also had a 15% coupon). I know of a few people with it and they seem pretty satisfied with it, though it's too short for big bananas.
I hope the Senorita gets more widely distributed soon as I'd like to try it, though I really would like Benny to get one before me since it means much more to him.
Best wishes for success!
