When I lived in the UK - the BBC radio had a Sunday afternoon program called desert island discs - a celebrity was brought in and asked to name eight songs that they would take with them to a desert island. Desert Island Discs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_Island_Discs)

To keep things simple here, I've arbitrarily reduced the selection to three.
So what would your three discs be??

Mine would be:-

Hallalujah - Jeff Buckley

ANARCHY IN THE UK - by the Sex Pistols or Frazier Chorus, or Ukelele Orchestra or any of the dozens of eastern european covers. All are brilliant and all express a mood of the times.

The Drugs Don't Work - again there's a choice of artists - The Verve or Ben Harper

So come on my banana lovin compatriots - what's your three must haves for a desert islaand??

Love the Borodin and Tatum....great choices!

I'd go with:

Yitzhak Perlman-Four Seasons;
Silvan Zingg-Triology (boogie woogie);
Sonny Rollins-Saxophone Colossus;
Benny Goodman-Sing, Sing, Sing (Carnegie Hall version); and
The Beatles- White Album.
