Here are some pictures of my tropical beds. This one is facing west in front of the house. Pictured is one washingtonia robusta and two super dwarf cavendishes:

It all looks so nice

How do you keep your grass so green? What kind is it?

Wow - I'm liking the shape of the last bed. I might nick that for our garden :D. Those Basjoo's should form a stunning jungle of foliage in a short amount of time, I can't wait to see pics of them when they're mature! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments guys!

The grass is Penncross creeping bent grass. I heavily fertilize and water it to keep it nice and lush. It's the kind of grass that is used on golf course fairways and greens. I planted it 08/04/07.

Those bananas will fill in nicely. I like that washy palm. Are those railroad tracks near your house? Are those tracks used a lot? Great looking plants!

Yep those are tracks!! They are used about once a day, so its not a big deal. Kind of cool to have tracks close by in my opinion.
