I am after some advice on germination, i have read through loads of thread on here on the subject and i have built myself a nice little germination box, my question is when is it the right size to transplant the plant from the container i am using to germinate in, to transfer into pots? Where is the best place to keep the pots once the new seedling nana is in it, is it just keep it warm and watered till it is bigger and stronger. I have in soak at the minute, Musa helens hybrid, Musa sikkimensis red tiger, musa cheesmanu and ensete perrieri, i have read all hte comments on here about germination of ensete perrieri and they where a freeby from trhe seed supplier so i thought i would try anyway. I would be very grateful of any advice anyone can offer as i want to grow my babies to nice banana plants. Thank you in advance. Mark

If you are germinating them outside in a community pot, then I just leave them ther until they have a few leafs, depending on how packed together they are. If they are inside in a no, or low light situation then I'd transplant them as soon as the grow above the soil.
For the E.perrieri, don't use the baggy method(uncovered pot in hot/warm spot), and extra perlite or pumice should be a good mix. If you miss a few seed waterings that species may actually thank you and sprout.
