I bought this banana at a garage sale for $5, no one knew what it was.

It's a kind of "skinny" banana, slimmer than say an ice cream and not as tall as an ice cream, maybe 8 feet.

Can you post another pic or two of the entire plant and a close-up of the leaves?

Can't help you with the id I'm afraid - but great pics and a gorgeous plant. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you what it is. Gorgeous flower!!

Fruit formation is similar to Dwarf Brazilian. Check it out:
