thank you....u see my point :D
i also spent about $250 give or take on hydroponic supplies that supposedly he could get for me since theres no hydroponic stores here, some palms, and we were splitting on a tray of TC nanas from Agri, i know that magicgreen has also been ripped off by Jason
jarred told me that jason moved and he would do good on what was bought but i guess that never happend :/

I do know he has quite a brug collection, I'm sure the plant exists.
I'm starting to wonder about my $52 he owes me for a partial liner of siams. But he's always been good to pay me before, just slow, so hang in there.
Besides what else can you do? I didn't know you were into him for so much though xavier, no wonder you're looking 4 him!
xavierdlc61887
07-11-2008, 08:38 AM
yes....he owes me :/ and yes thats why im looking for him.....and i hope your right....hope he does come through with what was bought from him and gives each and every one what they have bought :/

not to fan the flames but you do have rights regarding this! you could file a complaint with your local authorities however 250.00 would be at best a misdemeanor

Guys, Wish this had been talked about sooner. I SURE WISH I HAD RECIEVED MY SNOW BANANA I PAID $45 FOR MONTHS AGO. He disappeared and so did my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to sound like a jerk but I'm glad he is no longer on here and I DO NOT wish him well. What a crappy thing to do to members of the Org. I have a lot of trust in my fellow members and he broke that trust. Luckily Kyle and Chris have helped me get it back. Thanx guys.:03: So buyer beware. DO NOT buy from this guy! I don't care about my nana, I got one, but I want my $ back. Jason-The Plant Guy. Jason-The Crook.

I asked Fernie if I could "bump" this thread but he said no. I'm glad you did it instead of me!
At the least, he deserves a "Bad Business Practices" infraction. Sorry, Jason.

Yeah, I didn't ask Fernie...I just asked if anything was ever received. He said--No, me neither. We split a liner of siam ruby's me and Jason...well I bought them, potted them up in 4" pots of promix hp and grew them out for a month in the basement under grow lights, let him take his when they were well rooted, and he repaid me by "splitting" right out of town with out paying for his...lol....he just left me bad feedback on our "trade" too, I guess he thought the price was too high...lol...I guess if anyone wants to check on my credentials as a trader they'll just have to check with the other 20 people who have been happy with their plants.

If I had a Snow Banana I would send it to you...sounds like a couple of other members made it up to you. The good news this is a rare and infrequent occurrence (on this site)...:bananas_b
Back in the day when I had more time I shipped some corms to members of another garden site that offered to "reimburse postage"....and got stiffed not once; but twice......apparently the offer of cleaning, shipping and mailing corms was insufficient and they also wanted me to pay the shipping costs as well..lol....

The reason he cannot post on the forum is that he has been banned from the organization for his posts in that quoted thread. He was getting too belligerent. I don't know if he's able to receive and respond to PMs, or if he's able to receive emails through here, but he apparently can read what's being posted on the various threads. As Sandy just mentioned, he gave her a negative rating just today. He may also, just be still getting email notifications when there are new replies to threads that he'd been subscribed to.

yep i paid 34 for a hybred brug i never recieved. but you know what they say, what comes around goes around.....i wouldnt want to be him. hey btw i wasnt able to get to tampa when i was in fl....would have loved to seen ur yard! maybe next time. lol!

I saw last night he was on the chat too. He did post on there last night. But he wouldn't answer my questions or respond to me when I got on there, he quit posting. The thing is if he'd just make good on his things he has outstanding, communicate, and show people he wanted to do the right thing, people would probably chill out and eventually let him back in. If it was just a matter of not having the money or something like that people would understand, if it was explained and made up for. I trusted him as a friend, too. He lived right here in town and would hang out here sometimes. That's another reason why I feel so backstabbed by all this. It's one thing to rip off someone you barely know, that doesn't take nearly as much of a cold heart as to rip off someone you pretend to be friends with on a pretty regular basis. I'm done with this for now though....I do wish they could completely ban him so that no one else would get ripped off though.

I believe this about the gentleman named Jason, and JPFloors is someone else totally. That is what was confusing to me when you linked the thread above... I, too, saw Jason in the chat and spoke with him briefly and he was responsive to me. When I told him to pm me to discuss the situation in private, he disappeared. That was about the same time Sandy came into the chat room, so I am not sure if that was the reason, or what I said. I have yet heard anymore from him... Jason, if you read this, feel free to contact me and we can try and make everything right and you can begin building trusting relationships with others on this great forum!!! I believe you could make this right with everyone and so we can all go on and enjoy our common love of bananas.

Brugmansia is a genus of six species of flowering plants in the family Solanaceae, native to subtropical regions of South America, along the Andes from Colombia to northern Chile, and also in southeastern Brazil. They are known as Angel's Trumpets, sharing that name with the closely related genus Datura. Brugmansia differs from Datura in being perennial and woody (Datura species are herbaceous), and in having pendulous (not erect) flowers.
Brugmansia are large shrubs or small trees, reaching heights of 3–11 m, with tan, slightly rough bark.
The leaves are alternate, generally large, 10–30 cm long and 4–18 cm broad, with an entire or coarsely toothed margin, and are covered with fine hairs.
The name Angel's Trumpet refers to the large, very dramatic, pendulous trumpet-shaped flowers, 14–50 cm to 20 inches long and 10–35 cm across at the wide end. They are white, yellow, pink, orange or red, and have a delicate, attractive scent with light, lemony overtones, most noticeable in early evening. Flowers may be single or double.
All parts of Brugmansia plants contain dangerous levels of poison and may be fatal if ingested by humans or animals, including livestock and pets. Contact with the eyes can cause pupil diliation (mydriasis) or unequal pupil size (anisocoria). Some municipalities prohibit the purchase, sale, or cultivation of Brugmansia plants.
Brugmansia are easily grown in a moist, fertile, well-drained soil, in full sun to part shade, in frost-free climates. They begin to flower in mid to late spring in warm climates and continue into the fall, often continuing as late as early winter in warm conditions. In cool winters, outdoor plants need protection, but the roots are hardy and will resprout in April or May. The species from the higher elevations, B. sanguinea and B. vulcanicola, prefer moderate temperatures and cool nights, and may not flower if temperatures are very hot. Most Brugmansias may be propagated easily by rooting 10–20 cm cuttings taken from the end of a branch during the summer.
sorry to have recked this thread but he asked!

Randy,
Thanks for posting the link to the rules. Maybe I'm just a moron (highly likely!), but where are these posted? I've been a member here for over two years and this is the first time I remember seeing this list. Perhaps it needs to be posted in a more visible location, or have I just always overlooked it?

Go up to the, for lack of a better term, toolbar, and on the righthand side look under "quick links". Scroll down until you see them posted under "Rules". Hope this makes sense.....:waving:

Yes, the Reefing forum also has something like that
That did not stop them from doing the right thing
The person in question that was banned was actually paying for advertising on the site
So it cost them $$, but kept members from getting ripped off

thank you pauly for the classification and planting of the brugs. i have had 2 die on me.....i had it planted in clay. duh! banana dirt for now on!!!

Wow..hard to kill a brug....they are like weeds..every little piece in the compost pile germinates...but I guess clay = poor drainage and we all know too much water can kill anything....bummer...
