Way to go! I take water out of the aquaponics fish tank off and on to water my nanas. I would use it more often but don't think Ric would appreciate having to haul up more pond water to replenish the tank too often. The nanas have really been taking off recently getting thicker trunks and other than the fish water I've only fertilized once with MG and that triple 19 that I won't use anymore. I'm really sold on the fish water!

I give my plants water from my tanks when I clean them too. I also give them the junk that comes out of my water garden filter. They seem to do well with it.

i often use water from my Koi pond and top it up with fresh when necessary. Free fertilizer is always a good thing and the fish like a change to :)

i am actually moving the aquarium to the den so ill have humidity for my nanas to overwinter. that way i wont pay a ton more on my light bill this winter like i did last winter. lol. i still want to get a 10 gal for a germinaton station(thanks jp for the idea!) im gonna put fish back in it, eventually. im gonna get it filled and cleaned and let it cycle for a month before i put anything in it. lol. i dont know if i want to do tc yet or not.....i would like to grow some seeds first before i jump into anything to tech.

Haha! Jarred I don't think I qualify with my feed bowl pond with 1 fish (a big toad ate the other one!). Like the nanas the fish is unknown as I bought him off a man in the street but he is pretty with pink on top and grey below.

You might want to follow up with some sulfur (e.g., calcium sulfate, Sul-Po-Mag) or copper (e.g., liqui-cop) to kill the anaerobic fungus in the aquarium water that can damage (suffocate) plant roots.
