Today we have a heat wave and the high reached 97 degrees f. My dwarf namwah baby took some sun damage.
The new leaf unrolling from the center looks alright. Should I clip the damaged leaves, or leave them? Anything else to do to help it?
It's already out of the sun. I am about to water it. Should I hold off on giving it water soluble fertilizer or does it especially need it now?

Sorry for the huuuuuge picture, I'm not sure how to fix it. Edit: Resized. Sorry.

Let me state the obvious..... It is getting too much sun :ha::08: So move it to an area that doesn't get as much sun :ha:. put a top mulch on top, ideally woodchips, about two to three inches thick. Then leave the plant alone, making sure it gets enough water.

Just mist the plant and move it out of the direct sun; just give it bright light. Only water the pot IF the bottom of the pot is near dry. Check the soil though the drain holes.

I thought bananas needed full sun. It only gets about five hours a day, then shade from the building in the afternoon on. It's in a big 30 gallon pot that I can't move by myself, so I don't know what to do now. I feel like I'm really stupid and messed up. I didn't know they can't be in sunlight.

Just leave it there and must the leaves, and m maybe out a shade cloth over it.
