This plant was sold as "Musa Cardaba", but I guradually start wondering if
this is really that species as I have never seen such Cardaba as with pseudo-
stem and petioles in reddish color.
Your comment is welcome, and thank you.

Asacomm...did you see my reply to your previous post on this subject? The plant in your photo looks exactly like my High Color Mini. To my knowledge, Cardabas usually have green foliage.

Thanks for your reply, bananaman88.
Yes, I read your previous comment, but I just wonder what other friends
feel like.

I was going to post this photo, that I saved from the web in my archives of a Cardaba alongside a Zebrina, earlier, but I was having difficulty beaming up anything into the website.

If you look closely at the young pups of the Cardaba(the mat on the left), you will see some faint red coloration. Asacomm's banana has way too much color to be a Cardaba. I would be inclined to agree with Brent (BananaMan), that it probably belongs to the Cavendish family. If not the HCM (aka SDC), the Dwarf Cavendish.

This is a photo of a new pup of my Dwarf Cavendish.
In comparison with the first photo of "Musa Cardaba", they look very much
similar and they don't seem that they are different species.
Then was the Cardaba mislabelled in spite of being Dwf. Cavendish?

I don't "feel" that it is a Cardaba - I also don't think or believe that it is a Cardaba.

There is a subtle difference that I do notice between the plant in the first picture, and the plant in the second picture. In the first picture, the leaves are wider looking and oblong tipped, while the second plant has narrower leaves with almost pointed tips.
It's really hard to pinpoint it until it blooms and fruits.
