I am thinking of separating the pups, but wondering if the bananas will be harmed at this stage in life. They are at least 90 days old. Thanks3391

wait till fruit is done, then cut off the mother pstem and slice that pot right in 1/2 leaving 1/2 of the mother corm with each pup and replant. i'd imagine that 1/2 of the mother corm would provide alot of stored energy to recover the pups very quickly from a repot.

doing it at that stage will stress the mother and leave pup with just its small corm to recover on.

Let me play Devils advocate:ha: The one on the left appears to be a water sucker. So I think you should cut the water sucker when the fruit is harvested (right where it connects to the fruiting corm) and just leave the other plant and the whole corn alone. :nanadrink:
