Congratulations BBJ! Plenty of time for the entire bunch to develop. Better start taking orders from friends and family. Gonna be a ton of bananas by early summer!

Wish I could let my Tall Namwah fruit at that height. I have to trick them to fruit lower to keep them under my 12 foot roof. Love the fruit. Recently had a 12 foot tall plant with a bunch at 4 feet. So easy to pick the fruit that way.

Yes, 4 feet. The cool part was that it was still a full sized bunch. If I remember right, it had 10 hands. You can see part of it in the Hydroponic growers sound off thread.

Here they are. More progress. I can kinder see some nanners!!!
One made a three fourths of a leaf, the next leaf was half length, and this one is about a fourth of a leaf. Never seen that. Usually it has a pre flag, then flag. Why did that happen?

I tricked the plant. I made the new growth that normally travels to the top of the plant, exit out the side of the plant. Looks kinda like a branch. I got the idea from a friend a while back. Anyway you split the stem and guide the new growth out the side. Getting ready to split another Tall Namwah soon as it is pushing hard on my 12 foot roof.

Could it be frost damage somehow? Or friction marks? Just I don't think there are any leaves nearby.......

Possible ... but the marks shouldn't get any larger if those were the cause. But if these are from a fungus then it needs to be kilt to keep from spreading. .... Notice the ends of the fingers are black too. Frost would have killed the little flowers. So I doubt this is frost damage.

Man I am surprised! The pup from the one that fruited in the fall that made a nice twelve hand bunch. I pruned it. As it turned out, I didn’t need to. 😓 THEN the pup throws a nine hand bunch. Thankfully that one wasn’t in the fall 😠 It also threw the bunch right at the mother! I thought they fruited away from the mother! Super confusing lol.

How come it dropped the bunch pretty much right on top of the mother's cut trunk?
