how long to grow leaves
Hello, This is my first banana I purchased online and it came with no leaves or anything just a stump with roots. I potted it right away and have it in a greenhouse. Can anyone tell me how long before it gets leaves?

Not to worry. That's how many companies ship to avoid damage and to be able to reduce shipping costs by sending it in a smaller package. Sounds like you got a corm, which is where the growing point is located. Keep a close eye on it in your greenhouse. Don't go too heavy on the water until you see some growth. Keep the soil just moist, not too wet, and you should begin to see growth within a week or two.
