"Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title" has now been removed.
Previously, the site allowed 5 minutes for a thread starter to change the title of the post.
I removed this feature, so that if, say for example, you post a thread in the "bananas wanted" forum, with a title "wanted: some pups" - and you later realize that you want it to stand out a little better, make it more targetted,
you can change it to "wanted: pups that will grow in Zone 8, Oregon".
Another reason why I removed this limitation is so you can fix typos in the title if you later realize a mistake.
Still another reason is because if the thread topic suddenly shifts, you can keep the board updated as to what the discussion inside the thread is all about.
