Once I know I can do it and not kill either of them I don't think it'll bother me. It's just going to be scary until I'm an old pro. :2720:

Yikes, I have never had the experience, yet. Let's give it a name -seems like the thing to do these days - perhaps a tribute to George Carlin's way of seeing things. Something like 'Pup-post partum depression' or 'Baby Banana Bayonet Syndrome', 'Corm Chopping Colic Condition'..........

Think of it as a mother giving forth new life (maybe like the throes of labor). (I'm not helping am I?)

ROFLAO i vote for
'Baby Banana Bayonet Syndrome'!
Or how about "Juvenal Musa separation anxiety"
or JMSA syndrome for short! lol we could form a foundation and ask for tax exempt status lol

I'd vote for Corm Chopping Colic, or proffer forth "Post-Duration Pup Separation Anxiety" (the politically correct form of Chop-Shocky)

I haven't gotten to the separation stage YET!!!!!
I just can imagine the fear, trepidation, and trembling in my bones when the time comes this fall!!! LOL

Don't wanna hurt any of my babies and the mama you know.

I know exactly what you mean Sam! I got queasy just reading your post!
When forced to separate pups from their mom, I first apologize for several minutes to both plants, and hold my breath while making "the cut". :nanerwaveytrain:

I actually love to hear that sound! It tells me that I'm almost done digging out that pup!

i did watch it and it made it worse. all i kept thinking about when i was wacking it off was, "cant you feel its pain" off the movie fern gulley.
