Your plant will have to kept indoors at 70 degrees or above
Any banana plant when small is easy to house and overwinter.
Put the plant under lights if possible
Treat your plant like you would your others.....but warmer.
Growing issues arise when the plant reaches the teen stages @ a 15 x10 footprint at the end of season....growers just cannot handle the sheer size of the plant for the winter....too big for me too.

Thankyou for your reply
Grow the plant like you would all your others.
These like more continual heat.
I grow this plant indoors for the winter as well of a few others.
Do not hesitate to ask or comment on photos.
Variegated plants are special to their owners....we know that.

Just to clear this up, Ae Ae and Florida are two different varieties. As far as I know the winter care of each is similar. Which one do you have?
