Is plan B some sort of temporary winter protection? My Raja Puri always seems too late to mature before winter. One year I made hoops out of PVC pipe and then covered it with plastic and put an electric heater with a thermostat inside. It almost worked, except I taped the edges of the plastic together with duct tape and the wind blew it open while it was freezing. If I had taped the edges with duct tape *and then* nailed/stapled that to a board I believe it would have worked. I may try that this year. My Raja Puri hasn't bloomed yet, but it should very soon.

No I will be digging it out, unless it's filled out enough to cut and let ripen in here. Have 60-80 days till frost.

Raja puri and pome types are some of my slowest to fill here! I would say a good 4 months of good weather. If any Musa with be ok moving while fruit is hanging it would be raja puri! It is not picky about it’s growing conditions at all!

Thanks! Sounds like it'll definitely have to be moved, I think I'll clean out my greenhouse (from dwarf Cavendish) and plant these is the ground in there, I like how short they fruit!
If you don't remember I got this plant from you! And a gold finger, the gold finger has fruit hanging now and hopefully this winter I'll get to try both! Thanks again!
I'll keep it updated
