Hello,
I am new to the world of growing bananas! I am ready to buy my first plant but am having trouble finding someone that will ship to Canada. I am in Calgary, Alberta. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
Raquelle

Depends upon what type of "dwarf" you are looking for - check out Home Depot and Canadian Tire as almost always have DC (Dwarf Cavendish) but they will be listed as either "tropical plant" or "houseplant".
You can also check out Walmart as they sometimes have them with house plants, but more often they will have the larger Musa basjoo (cold hardy to zone 7 or so) or Ensete Ventricosum aka red abyssinian

Welcome to the club!
I don't want you to go off looking for a miracle LOL
The only edible ones you will find in store are dwarf Cavendish and SDC. If you're ok with those. One thing to watch out for is scams, mislabeled plants online here in CA. They will say it's something rare or something along those lines and the price will be 3 times what it's worth. I've been on the hunt for 5 years nothing new lol. I got most of mine through members in the US but before things went far far south. Best of luck!
