I am a northern gardener living in southwest FL
I had a banana plant like this over the summer. all the little bananas turned black and rotted. what did I do wrong? also does anyone know what type of banana these are? thanks

It sounds like you just had bad luck with your plant.
There is always this summer for it to grow.:)

I am having difficulty navigating this site, I cant post my photos. i am not sure what kind of banana plant i have. it has started producing little bananas i dont know how much to water what type of fertilizer etc. Any help would be appreciated

To put them in the photo gallery they need to be 2MB or smaller I think. Your pics may be too large.

If you purchased the plant locally at a big box store in SWF it's probably a dwarf Cavendish.
