Hi Guys Ive Got A Musa Var Tanee And A Musa Thai Nak That I Need Some Advice On😁 This Is My Second Attempt As The First Failed About A Year Ago, Ive Potted Them In A 50-50 Decent Compost Perlite Mix And Barely Watered Just To Moisten The Mix, On My Last Attempt I Kept Them At Around 20 Degrees On A Windowsill But Just Dried From The Top To The Bottom And Then The Corm Rotted Over A Few Months😫 Anyway This Time Ive Got Them In A Vitopod Prop Set At 30 Degrees But Averages Around 25 As The Ambient Temp Outside The Unit Is Quite Chilly Aso Has 100watt Sunblast Growlights Above, Is There Anythingelse I Can Do To Get It To Produce Some Roots Then Top Growth Before It Rots Away👍😊😎

I'm not sure what you mean by bare-root. Are these pups or tissue culture? Can you post a photo?

Hi Richard I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t see how you post a pic, basically it’s a pup that’s removed from a mother plant and all the roots and soil removed so it’s just the bare corm and the stem cut back to about 12 inches tried to upload photo I’ve no idea I think I posted a picture description on the gallery if that helps

Thought so. Give it bottom heat, hold back on the water, keep out of the sun, no 100watt grow lights either. They will grow new roots first followed by top growth. Once you see top growth then give it light. Where did you get them from if you don't me asking?

Hi Guys Ive Got A Musa Var Tanee

Your Tanee will be a vigorous grower once it sorts itself out.
It will be one of your favorite plants for sure.
