I bought two of these figuring they were going to be around for a couple of years to use for all the bananas I have going on. I opened one package and it is in a zip lock bag but after using it 3 times, the bag is a solid block. I bought 0-0-53 that is more like a powder and I don't see the same thing happening to that and I bought that months before the Sul-Po-Mag.

How to deal with a 25 pound brick of this stuff? I'm pissed. Seems like I will need a ice pick to do this.

You live in the humid state of Florida. Sul-Po-Mag is a salt. It will bind in the presence of humidity unless properly stored.

What dosage are you using?

I'd recommend:

for TC's - none
a pup, up to knee high - a teaspoon once
juveniles to full size in a pot - a teaspoon every three months
juveniles to full size in the ground - a handfull every three months
