Hi! Im asking for starter plants. I do not want to buy established plants from a lnursery, as most have considerable development. This does not give me enough training in reality in attempting to develop my own crop from start.
My goal is to retire to Ecuador. However, i am living in western NC USA at present, and in an apartment, no less. This seems ideal training ground for the next 5 years.
Encouragement and constructive criticism are welcome. Thank you!

Ecuador has roughly 4 climatic zones. Bananas thrive in all of them but pit fruits such as true plums do not. Which zone are you considering?
