It is looking good. And, appears to be doing well in zone 10b.

Thank you. I have 2. One is in a more shaded area of the yard. Both seem to be doing well.

I'm sure! I wanted to plant mine in the ground, but since I only had one, I kept it in a pot, though I submerged the pot in the ground to try to keep it from drying out too much in the 100+deg heat we had. I shouldn't have been so cheap and should have bought 2!

I bought a fhia-17 from florida hills nursery at the sametime and put it in the ground just to see what. it grew much much bigger than the ones in pots. but at the same time its still small enough to worry about it in the winter.

I say pick a day and a time that isn't too hot and dig it up and pot it now. What say the people more expert than me? Ty Taylor?

got to many in pots now. at least what I want to handle. tc's I always buy 2, 1 for insurance, so I have another in a pot. we will just see how well it deals with winter [with a little help].
