In-person trades only.

My gros michel has produced pups. My picture shows three but I realized there are actually four at the moment. I am keeping one and giving another to my uncle, so I will have two remaining and I will happily trade one for a true blue java once they are large enough. I had two nurseries that have tried to pass off nam wahs to me as blue javas, and I don't want to rely on nurseries anymore. If you know for sure that you have a real-deal blue java, are in the south florida area, and would like a very healthy gros michel, then let's talk. Been feeding her with 6-2-12. You can PM me. I am in the Coral Springs area.

Hello, Botanical_Bryce. I'm not sure if I understand. You give away which? Gros michel, blue java, both? Also, what limit are you referring to?

Honestly, when making this thread it didn't occur to me that someone would just want to give away one of their plants without something in return. My motivation was that there is something primordial and satisfying about a trade. But if you're implying you'd gift me a blue java, I would appreciate that very much.

I'd be willing to trade pups, but my blue java doesn't have any at the moment. I only have manzana pups.

Thanks for the reply, Dean12692. Let me know whenever your blue java have produced pups. Perhaps then we can make a trade.

How hardy is manzana. Looking for bananas that will hold up in SC low country (8b/9a)

Manzana should do ok with a couple light frosts, but cant take much more than that.

Carolina King banana. You should be able to find these locally. ... I want a pup it you do.

Brazilian is the hardiest banana I have seen... Against pests, disease and cold. Taste great as well. The only downside is a 5-6 month wait for ripening.

I have an Ice Cream pup that is about 3 feet tall at the moment. I also have Namwahs and they look nothing like my Ice Cream, so I'm positive it is an Ice Cream. I'm located in the Miami Springs area if you'd be interested.

The proof is in the fruit. Namwa isn't the only banana sold as Ice Cream.
