Hey guys!

My big namwa (13' pstem) has developed a yellow edge approximately an inch deep along the entire leaf. This yellowing is on all the upper 10-12 leaves. The lower leaves (mid level leaves) have not been effected. My plants are always green so concerned about the change in color.

I thought the yellowing was due to potassium deficiency and applied a 1/3 cup of muriate of potash last week around the base area in addition to the monthly application of complex fertilizer in the normal monthly.

We get a ton of rain and my plants are close to their fruiting height so maybe a deficiency has developed.

If its due to potassium deficiency would I see the yellow leaf edge turn back green or just stabilize and the leaf edge turn brown? Or what?

Thanks for any help!

Here's a photo of what I'm seeing:

Likely the fertilizer & nutrients are getting washed away with all the rain. Because only the upper leaves are showing the yellow edge & the lower leaves are green shows when the fertilizer became lacking.

Instead of fertilizing monthly, divide dosage in half and apply every two weeks to reduce the amount of fertilizer being leached away. ... i don't thing the yellow edge will green up.
