Effect of Post Shooting Bunch Spray of Chemicals on Bunch Characters and
Yield of Banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) cv. Grand Naine

"The first spray was given immediately after complete opening of the bunch and second spray was given at 20 days after first spray. The results of present investigation revealed that the banana bunches when sprayed Brassinosteroid @ 2 ml l-1 found effective in higher bunch size (length and girth), finger size (length and girth), finger weight, weight of third hand, bunch weight and fruit yield of banana."

It's a shame that they didn't try combining GA3 and Brassinosteroid.

What about natural altenatives such as FPJ? I prefer not to use harsh things in the yard.

I couldn't find anything about fermented plant juice (FPJ) on bananas but here is a paper about FPJ on tomato plants:

For what it's worth, I discovered that unfermented alfalfa sprout juice is a good surfactant.

I'd rather improve the quality of banana.:nanadrink:

The idea is to ferment the bananas due to the high potassium content. Cannabis growers go bonkers over nanner ferments.

I agree with the GA3. I have experimented with it. Gotta be very careful though. Things can get really weird really fast with too much GA3 lol. My final thought was that the small benefit was not worth the cost and time involved.

Proper amounts of Potassium can have much greater results on filling and fruit quality!
