Someone at Texas Rare Fruit Growers posted a picture of a small, short, slender P-stem banana plant (maybe 4'?) with an *upright* yellowish/cream colored bud and green leaves growing in a muck bucket "since Feb or March" in Killeen, TX. He said that it was Raja Puri, but I said that I've never seen one like that!
I assume that it is a common species banana, but since I don't know anything about those I figured I'd ask. Dang I need to remember how to post pictures!
Is it possible to guess without a picture?

Sounds like it could be Musa siamensis, but would need a photo to ID for sure.

Now I just need to remember how post a picture. I think I need to upload it to my photos, then click on insert image here.

This is the picture of the banana plant that was sold to a member of TRFG as a "Raja Puri". Looks just like the picture I saw of a Musa siamensis. Thanks!
