Hi,

What shall I write, let me think. I love bananas. Ok, it's obvious, I've subscribed her. Well, I used to be member of the international IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) forum where everyone hated the subject.
So I live in Italy close to Bologna. In Budapest, where I used to live, I had quite a fair collection of bananas. In the garden I had Ensete ventricosum Maurelii, Musa basjoo, Musa sikkimensis, Musella lasiocarpa, inside in the house strelizias and a Dwarf Orinoco. Now that I've moved closer to the banana zone I don't have anything except for some Musa that I've "inherited" and of which I don't really know what species it would be. Is it OK to ask something immediately?
I'm searching for Ice Cream or Nam Wah or both. Well, I'm doing it continously so, as a matter of fact, it makes part of my introduction.
Otherwise I feel honoured to be here.

Hello and Welcome!!

I am still learning myself. I adopted my first plant in August of 2017 so I'm coming up on a year. He's still alive but not looking so good lately. This is a great "bunch" on this website .. hahaha!! I'm sure you will get some guidance with your new inherited nanas! :)

If it's been addressed to me - I'm not (totally) dumb just trying to get accustomed to the technical part this forum - then it's very kind of you! I forgot to say that I'm at the border of zone 8b-9a. (Just in case someone would like to send me a fruiting plant as a welcome gift.)
