Myself for one do not know much about pineapple plants. I do have a couple growing in the greenhouse from grocery store tops. I hope they flower this year.
Does the Red Spanish make good fruit? Beautiful plant!

Red Spanish is a great pineapple plant to grow the fruit to me is aromatic and flavorful sweet tasting not to Acidic.... the only down fall to growing red Spanish is the sharp spines running down the leaves... they will cut you up pretty bad if your not careful.... other than that there worth growing
