I havn't heard any one mention Lime..
what I have heard, is that lime is what helps activates the fertilizer and helps the plant absorb it,, also raises the ph of the soil.
what I use is a 13-13-13 with pelleted lime as a filler , that I get from a agriculture feed/ seed and grain elevator store ( that my father used to own) that mixes the fertilizer to what ever you want,, mainly to farmers for their fields,, mixes it in mass quantities for BIG spreaders,, but they do bag some up for the general public.. $15.00 for a 50 lb bag.
this mixture has made my plants grow like crazy,,
just wondering why no one has mentioned Lime?
