When I first started collecting, I got offered some dwarf ducasse (namwah). Not knowing they were the same as what was being called canarvon banana at the time I bought 10 plantlets. 2 years later all are going well bar 1
As you can see its healthy but tiny compared to the others. Gets the same everything. Any thoughts?

One) ... A different plant might have been mixed in. The above picture is not very clear to see any variety differences.

Two) ... A mutated natural dwarf of the plant. You may have a new version of the plant.

Grow the plant since it looks healthy, then see if its pups are dwarfs too. Plant in the ground to see if its growth changes.

You asked for my thoughts ....

I did think it could be different, but the first tc plantlets I got all came together. I.e all the dwarf ducasse were in one container. Subsequent orders came individually packed in test tubes. I have a similar issue with a dwarf red dacca. 10 plants are all the same, one is about 50 percent bigger as if its a non dwarf. Im currently labelling them as off types. Will see how they go in a couple more years.
