There is a Thai method of growing banana suckers upside down. Apparently, it produces stronger plants, more suckers and larger fruits. What are your thoughts on it?
I grew my dwarf cavendish using this method and the fruits were large but I don't have anything to compare it with.

Never heard of it; never saw it done.
Post your pictures of the process and any reference links to the method.
I'm not sure how to get my nana patches with 200 plus plant turned upside down. May be if I lived on the other side of the world (Australia or Singapore) where toilets spin backwards this might be possible. ...:goteam: ,,,,:birthdaynana:,,,
The solution to growing bigger bananas, is to grow more of them.

It seems to me it would encourage fast sucker growth. Other than that I see no way it could improve your yield or anything else. Several plants will be sharing the same place, like a 2 year old, unthinned mat, competing for water and nutrients.

Once the main pstem (growing point) is cut off, there is no top or bottom just like a potato. ... I presume the pstem being cut off has fruited, so the point is to stimulate new sucker growth.
