Doesn’t look like cavendish to me. Strange. It’s an AAA type like cavendish though. Very cool picture. Thanks for sharing! Amazing bunch! Cograts.

Cav doesn't have those persistent males does it?
Got a pic of the flower bud with the bunch a few weeks after fruiting?
How does it taste? If you like it, I guess it matters little what it is.

How does it taste? If you like it, I guess it matters little what it is.
I live in Singapore so I do get loads of banana varieties that are much tastier than cavendish, In fact, I avoid cavendish bananas at all cost. This banana isn't as flavourful as the other banana varieties that are available here but it's still better than the supermarket cavendish.
