Well looks like Milky Way produces seeds.

Whether they are viable and true-to-type remains to be seen though....

Cool. Did you hand pollinate them or did they self pollinate?

Self. Nothing else was blooming at the time.

I hope alemily will send me the fresh seeds as musa ornata "Milky Way" were the most super difficult plants for me to get, and I had been waited for fresh seeds of "Milky Way" for 17 past years.

I tried to get seeds but they were super difficult to get and "Milky Way" is slipping toward extinction.

Sending the seeds to me will help me pull "Milky Way" away from extinction....I had raised both musa species and heliconias from seeds for 16 past years.

With all due respect Mr. Care, I shall state this again, publicly: I do not ship plant germplasm outside the United States whether it is live plant material or seeds.

Hi Tytaylor77,

Yes, Thankyou for thought about me.

OK, I will leave her alone and do nothing about her., she need be fair to people outside USA.

When your musa "Milky Way" fruits ripe and have seeds for me, please PM me.

I had been waited for 17 past years for fresh seeds and "Milk Way" were very difficult plants for both people in USA and for people internationally, to look for and to get hold.

I had deleted my message toward Amanda.

Clinton.

Is Milky Way the same as Leyte White? If so Sherry Ballester has some seeds and she does ship overseas.

No, Milky Way have pure white bracts while Leyte White had purple tips to white bracts. Leyte White are not cold hardy and for zone 11 and warmer, while Milky Way are cold hardy and can grow outside all the year in zone 8 and zone 9.

If it's so important for your collection you could always travel to the USA to get them.

Clinton3666: Thank you for deleting your message, we do not tolerate that kind of behavior here, and if it continues you will be banned temporarily. If Amanda does not want to ship seeds to you (she wasn't even offering them for sale), she doesn't have to, and members don't deserve to be publicly denounced for not doing something they don't want to do.
