Can resist to frost a small sikkimensis of 1 year high 30 cm with protection leaves or straw?..the small and big banana sikkimensis have the same resistence to frost?

I have 6 or eight seikimess plants and in my experience they have almost 0 leaf resistance
to frost the sudostem will survive mild frost and cold but freeze to the ground in cold weather below 31 f but are root hardy here in zone 7 with out any special care if I cut the sudostem back to 4 ft and cover with a bag packed with tightly packed dry leaves after the first frost the sudostem survives and resumes growth in the spring hope this helps

also the bigger the plant the better chance surviving the winter I see your in zone 8 so you should have no problem with the corm/root even unprotced
but bagging or wrapping would be needed to save the sudostem if the temps drop much below 32 f to have any chance of fruting
